How to Unsubscribe from Amazon Emails
Amazon sends deal alerts, inspired by your browsing, review requests, Prime promotions, and subscribe-and-save nudges. Here are the three ways to make it stop, from slowest to fastest.
Sweep all Amazon emails freeUse the unsubscribe link in any Amazon email
Open a recent Amazon email and scroll to the very bottom. Click the small unsubscribe link in the footer, then confirm on the page that opens. In Gmail you can also click the Unsubscribe button next to the sender name at the top of the message.
Heads up: Amazon's footer link tends to unsubscribe you from one email type at a time, so mail from other categories keeps coming. Method 2 switches everything off at once.
Senders can take up to 10 business days to process an unsubscribe, so a few more emails may arrive first.
Turn off email in your Amazon settings
Go to Account, then Communication preferences (under Email alerts, messages, ads and cookies). Expand Promotional Emails and select 'Do not send me any marketing email for now'. Order and shipping mail continues.
Unsubscribe and delete the old ones in one click
Unsubscribing stops future emails; the hundreds already in your inbox stay. To find every Amazon email you have, paste this into Gmail's search bar:
Then tick the select-all checkbox, click "Select all conversations that match this search", and delete. Or skip the manual work: Sweeper Email shows Amazon as a single row with a count, and one click unsubscribes and sweeps every email at once. Scanning is free and deleted mail sits in Trash for 30 days.

How do I delete all my old Amazon emails?
Unsubscribing only stops future mail. In Gmail, search from:(amazon.com), click Select all, then Delete. Or connect Sweeper Email and sweep every Amazon email in one click; deleted mail sits in Trash for 30 days in case you change your mind.
Can I stop Amazon emails without deleting my account?
Yes. Turning off marketing email in the settings keeps your Amazon account fully active; only the promotional mail stops. Account, security, and receipt emails continue.
