How to Unsubscribe from Temu Emails

Temu sends lightning deal alerts, free gift offers, price drop notices, and 'almost sold out' warnings. Here are the three ways to make it stop, from slowest to fastest.

Sweep all Temu emails free

Use the unsubscribe link in any Temu email

Open a recent Temu email and scroll to the very bottom. Click the small unsubscribe link in the footer, then confirm on the page that opens. In Gmail you can also click the Unsubscribe button next to the sender name at the top of the message.

Heads up: Temu's footer link tends to unsubscribe you from one email type at a time, so mail from other categories keeps coming. Method 2 switches everything off at once.

Senders can take up to 10 business days to process an unsubscribe, so a few more emails may arrive first.

Turn off email in your Temu settings

In the app or on the site open Settings, then Notifications, and turn off Email under promotions. The footer unsubscribe works but Temu registers preferences per campaign type, so several clicks may be needed.

Tip: Temu routinely tops 'most emails per week' lists. If mail continues 10 days after unsubscribing, mark it as spam; Gmail's filters learn fast.

Unsubscribe and delete the old ones in one click

Unsubscribing stops future emails; the hundreds already in your inbox stay. To find every Temu email you have, paste this into Gmail's search bar:

Then tick the select-all checkbox, click "Select all conversations that match this search", and delete.
