How to Unsubscribe from Etsy Emails

Etsy sends shop recommendations, favorited item discounts, seller updates, and gift guides. Here are the three ways to make it stop, from slowest to fastest.

Sweep all Etsy emails free

Use the unsubscribe link in any Etsy email

Open a recent Etsy email and scroll to the very bottom. Click the small unsubscribe link in the footer, then confirm on the page that opens. In Gmail you can also click the Unsubscribe button next to the sender name at the top of the message.

Good news: Etsy's footer link is dependable and applies to the whole mailing list, not just one campaign.

Senders can take up to 10 business days to process an unsubscribe, so a few more emails may arrive first.

Turn off email in your Etsy settings

Open Account settings and switch to the Emails tab. Untick every category under 'From Etsy'; mail about your own purchases keeps arriving.

Unsubscribe and delete the old ones in one click

Unsubscribing stops future emails; the hundreds already in your inbox stay. To find every Etsy email you have, paste this into Gmail's search bar:

Then tick the select-all checkbox, click "Select all conversations that match this search", and delete.
