How to Unsubscribe from Groupon Emails
Groupon sends daily local deals, getaway offers, and coupon expiry warnings. Here are the three ways to make it stop, from slowest to fastest.
Sweep all Groupon emails freeUse the unsubscribe link in any Groupon email
Open a recent Groupon email and scroll to the very bottom. Click the small unsubscribe link in the footer, then confirm on the page that opens. In Gmail you can also click the Unsubscribe button next to the sender name at the top of the message.
Good news: Groupon's footer link is dependable and applies to the whole mailing list, not just one campaign.
Senders can take up to 10 business days to process an unsubscribe, so a few more emails may arrive first.
Turn off email in your Groupon settings
Open Account, then Email Preferences (or Notifications), and choose Unsubscribe from all Groupon emails. Divisions like Getaways have separate toggles on the same page.
Unsubscribe and delete the old ones in one click
Unsubscribing stops future emails; the hundreds already in your inbox stay. To find every Groupon email you have, paste this into Gmail's search bar:
Then tick the select-all checkbox, click "Select all conversations that match this search", and delete. Or skip the manual work: Sweeper Email shows Groupon as a single row with a count, and one click unsubscribes and sweeps every email at once. Scanning is free and deleted mail sits in Trash for 30 days.

Why am I still getting Groupon emails after unsubscribing?
Senders can legally take up to 10 business days to process an unsubscribe, and Groupon sends several distinct email types that may be subscribed separately. Use the Groupon settings described above to switch off every category at once.
How do I delete all my old Groupon emails?
Unsubscribing only stops future mail. In Gmail, search from:(groupon.com), click Select all, then Delete. Or connect Sweeper Email and sweep every Groupon email in one click; deleted mail sits in Trash for 30 days in case you change your mind.
Can I stop Groupon emails without deleting my account?
Yes. Turning off marketing email in the settings keeps your Groupon account fully active; only the promotional mail stops. Account, security, and receipt emails continue.
