How to Unsubscribe from Indeed Emails

Indeed sends job alerts, application updates, employer views, and resume nudges. Here are the three ways to make it stop, from slowest to fastest.

Sweep all Indeed emails free

Use the unsubscribe link in any Indeed email

Open a recent Indeed email and scroll to the very bottom. Click the small unsubscribe link in the footer, then confirm on the page that opens. In Gmail you can also click the Unsubscribe button next to the sender name at the top of the message.

Good news: Indeed's footer link is dependable and applies to the whole mailing list, not just one campaign.

Senders can take up to 10 business days to process an unsubscribe, so a few more emails may arrive first.

Turn off email in your Indeed settings

Job alerts are subscriptions: open the Job Alerts page (or the manage link in any alert email) and delete each saved alert. Account notifications live under Account, then Email preferences.

Tip: Every search you save creates a separate alert that emails independently. Deleting the saved alerts is what actually stops the volume.

Unsubscribe and delete the old ones in one click

Unsubscribing stops future emails; the hundreds already in your inbox stay. To find every Indeed email you have, paste this into Gmail's search bar:

Then tick the select-all checkbox, click "Select all conversations that match this search", and delete. Can I stop Indeed emails without deleting my account?
