How to Unsubscribe from TikTok Emails

TikTok sends trending video digests, follow notifications, LIVE reminders, and promotions. Here are the three ways to make it stop, from slowest to fastest.

Use the unsubscribe link in any TikTok email

Open a recent TikTok email and scroll to the very bottom. Click the small unsubscribe link in the footer, then confirm on the page that opens. In Gmail you can also click the Unsubscribe button next to the sender name at the top of the message.

Good news: TikTok's footer link is dependable and applies to the whole mailing list, not just one campaign.

Senders can take up to 10 business days to process an unsubscribe, so a few more emails may arrive first.

Turn off email in your TikTok settings

In the app, open Profile, tap the menu, then Settings and privacy, then Notifications, and turn off Email notifications. The unsubscribe link in any digest email also works for that category.

Tip: TikTok leans on push notifications more than email, so one unsubscribe usually ends it.
