How to Unsubscribe from Strava Emails

Strava sends activity kudos digests, challenge invitations, feature promotions, and yearly summaries. Here are the three ways to make it stop, from slowest to fastest.

Sweep all Strava emails free

Use the unsubscribe link in any Strava email

Open a recent Strava email and scroll to the very bottom. Click the small unsubscribe link in the footer, then confirm on the page that opens. In Gmail you can also click the Unsubscribe button next to the sender name at the top of the message.

Good news: Strava's footer link is dependable and applies to the whole mailing list, not just one campaign.

Senders can take up to 10 business days to process an unsubscribe, so a few more emails may arrive first.

Turn off email in your Strava settings

Open Settings, then Email Notifications, and untick each category or use the master toggle.

Unsubscribe and delete the old ones in one click

Unsubscribing stops future emails; the hundreds already in your inbox stay. To find every Strava email you have, paste this into Gmail's search bar:

Then tick the select-all checkbox, click "Select all conversations that match this search", and delete.
